Benidorm opens the El Moralet leisure area as the green artery of the coastal town.
ALICANTE – Benidorm has gained a new tourist attraction. This time no amusement park or an attraction but nature. If you don’t feel like the beach and the crowds, visit the city park or, rather, the El Moralet recreation area. With more than 17 kilometers of footpaths and cycle routes, partly over an old train track, Benidorm has gained a green attraction that can be visited all year round.
Take a breather in nature, not far from the beach and the bustle of the center of Benidorm. El Moralet is a green zone of more than one million square meters that serves as a recreational area. In this area, the paths have been improved and rehabilitated and several zones have been laid out with picnic tables and swings, climbing frames, etc. for the children.
The result is a huge green artery of the busy coastal town of Benidorm with dozens of footpaths that also partly go over old train tracks and are clearly signposted with new signage. In addition to hiking, this area is also ideal for cycling and mountain biking.
