Overview highways without toll in Spain from 1/9/21

On Wednesday, September 1, more than 550 kilometers of toll-free highways will be added in Spain, especially in Catalonia and Aragon. It concerns the AP-7 between the French/Spanish border crossing La Jonquera to the toll gate of Salou (Tarragona) and the AP-2 from the Mediterranean coast at the height of El Vendrell to Zaragoza in Aragón. The Catalan regional highways C-32 between Barcelona and Lloret de Mar and the C-33 will also become toll-free from 1 September.

From midnight September 1, 2021 it will be possible to drive for free, without paying a toll (peaje) on the highway to the popular Costa Brava, Costa Barcelona, ​​Costa Dorada, Costa Azahar and Costa Blanca. In total, more than 550 kilometers of highway will be free, saving the user up to almost 29 euros. These are the roads, number of kilometers and amounts:

Motorway AP-7 between Salou (Tarragona) and La Jonquera (Girona): 245 km / 28.85 euros.
Motorway AP-7 between Montmeló and El Papiol: 31 km / 2.60 euros.
Motorway C-32 between Barcelona and Lloret de Mar: 77 kilometers / 4.93 euros.
Motorway C-33 between Barcelona and Montmeló: 15 kilometers / 1.12 euros.
Motorway AP-2 between Alfajarín (Zaragoza) and El Vendrell (Tarragona): 215 km / 20.65 euros.

In 2020, the AP-7 between Tarragona (from Salou) to Alicante (exit San Juan) will become toll-free (373 km) and you will no longer have to pay tolls on the AP-4 between Seville and Cádiz (94 km). The year before in 2018, the AP-1 (84 km) between Burgos and Armiñón in northern Spain already became toll-free.
